For The Gourmet Cheesecake Lollipops by Chef David Burke

Fine Wine - Bordeaux

2009 Chateau De Monrepos Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Wine 750ml - $10.99

"Established on a little more than 12 hectares this vineyard is located in the northeast of the village of Les Artigues De Lussac, on the hillside close to Lalande De Pomerol. Purple and brilliant color. Nose of red fruits, black currant and plum, very supple, soft and velvety in the mouth." -The Chateau

2011 Chateau Haut Bernadon Bordeaux Blanc White Bordeaux Wine 750ml - $9.99

Ch. Haut Bernadon: " The 2011 Haut Bernadon Bordeaux Blanc has a bright, golden hue with beautiful aromas of passion fruit and cassis that continues onto the palate. The mouthg feel is fresh and vibrant with zippiness, making this a lovely match for appetizers and seafood." -The Importer

2009 Chateau La Gatte La Butte Bordeaux Superior Red Bordeaux Wine 750ml - $16.99

"100% Old vine merlot. The La Butte parcel sits behind the La Gatte chateau, perched upon a hill with an impressive slope towards the Dordogne river. The vineyard is composed of 100% merlot, replanted in 1958. The rich limestone is visible from the surface and gives naturally low yields. The vineyard's position gives it excellent drainage, photosynthesis and air movement, resulting in a precociously ripening fruit. The merlot picked from La Butte (regardless of vintage) is marked by a very dark color, velvety texture, deep, complex, spicy falvors and great length. tempting young, la Butte has stamina to hold and develop for two decades." -The Winery

2010 Chateau La Goutere Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Wine 750ml - $9.99

"The Chateau La Goutere vineyards are located near Saint Emilion, the oldest wine production region in Bordeaux. The clay-based soil and climatic influence of the Dordogne River provide the ideal conditions for Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This blend of 77% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc offers enticing aromas of ripe berries, complemented by a subtle hint of vanilla. Lovely notes of earth and fresh herbs enhance the fruit-forward palate, and merge with round, soft tannins on the finish." -The Winery

2010 Chateau Hyot Castillon Cotes De Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Wine 750ml - $16.99

90 Points - Wine Spectator, March 2012 "Very ripe, offering saturated cassis, blackberry and boysenberry pate de fruit flavors that are racy and distinctive, thanks to fresh acidity and sleek tannins.. The long finish has nice density. Drink now through 2016. 7,700 cases made." -James Molesworth
